Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the president and executive committee of the Cogan Ophthalmic History Society, and our local host Wendy Gasch, I am pleased to invite you to attend the 2019 meeting of the Cogan Society, to be held in Washington DC, March 15-17, 2019.

Attached is the formal invitation to the meeting (click here); it is also available on the Cogan Web site, cogansociety.org, under the Meetings tab; you will also find the abstract submission and registration forms there.  

This year, we have planned two optional events in DC the afternoon of March 15: special tours at the National Cathedral and at the Library of Congress.   Tours at the National Library of Medicine and at the Folger Shakespeare Library are also being explored as options.

In addition to the 2019 meeting, I'd also like to give you advance notice of our 2020, which will be held the first weekend of June, 2020 in London, in conjunction with our sister European ophthalmic history societies.  Information about that meeting will also be posted on the Cogan Web site as it becomes available.
